The new nonprofit Art Room Astoria was the recipient of over $14,000 in donations from the 100 Women Who Care of Clatsop County members at their May meeting.

Art Room Astoria was formed in response to the lack of art teachers and art classes available to students in the schools, and hires certified instructors to lead summer art camps. They are also preparing an after-school art program.
